SE 418 B SE – Stands for Skidmore Engineering 400 or 500 or 600 or 700 or 800 or 900 – Stands for the standard of torque capacity by range of in. lbs to ft. lbs. 18 – (The last two numbers) represents the wrench end size by using the fraction size 18/32 and then reduced to 9/16” for American Standard sizing. If an “M” appears in the last initial of the model number then the wrench end is in metric sizing and the 18 stands for 18mm. ( SE 418 BM) NOTE – the last initial (s) tell us what type of wrench end to put on the torque wrench B or BM - Stands for Box Head or Box Head Metric
